Leo said: I am absolutely delighted at the Ministry of Defence’s announcement today that veterans who joined the Brigade of Gurkhas before 2007 will benefit from a £15m (2.2bn Nepali Rupees) increase in the Gurkha Pension Scheme.

Today I was honoured to meet the first intake of graduates from the new Building Heroes Training Course in Aldershot which gives Armed Forces Veterans the chance to learn skills needed in the construction industry.
