Leo Docherty MP has released his latest e-Bulletin, in which he rounds up a busy start to 2024. 

Commenting, Leo said: 

January has been another extremely busy month, both in the Aldershot constituency and in Parliament.

The NHS has launched its' new Pharmacy First services. For the first time ever, community pharmacies in England can offer NHS consultations and supply prescription-only medicines without a prescription from a GP for seven common conditions. 

Leo Docherty MP, in his capacity as the Minister for Europe, answered questions to Foreign Office Ministers during a Oral Parliamentary Questions session.

This week the Government announced a plan to ban disposable vapes, which are a health risk to children, as well as a threat to the environment.

Today, after many years of work at the Ministry of Defence, the HM Armed Forces Veteran ID Card application system has gone live.

Today, Leo has received an important update from the Ministry of Defence on the rollout of super-fast broadband to Armed Forces families on the Aldershot Garrison.

Leo met with the Migration Minister, Tom Pursglove MP, in the House of Commons, and again made clear his strong opposition to the use of the Pinehurst Hill Side site in Farnborough to house over 300 asylum seekers.
