The PM's courageous performance in Manchester yesterday reminded me of one of my favourite poems - by the 26th President of the US, Theodore Roosevelt. True grit is what matters, and Theresa has that in abundance - with or without Strepsils!

I was lucky enough last night in Aldershot to watch Five Soldiers - an amazing dance production by the Rosie Kay Dance Company about the soldier's experience of combat. It's on for the next two nights in Aldershot - and is worth catching.

EU (Withdrawal) Bill

Tonight in the House of Commons an important step will be taken towards getting on with Brexit; at around midnight MPs will vote on the the EU (Withdrawal) Bill as it comes before the House for the second time.

South West Trains Disruption

Throughout August, South West train and Waterloo upgrade works will likely affect anyone travelling from Hampshire to London by train.
