With the Coronation of King Charles III rapidly approaching, Aldershot Garrison is becoming a hive of activity as the Armed Forces finalise drill practice and rehearsals for the historic day.
The Aldershot Coronation Training Area (ACTA) has been established for units to train in preparation for the Coronation. This area falls outside of the wire of the Garrison on three main roads: Queen's Avenue, Prince's Avenue and Redvers Buller Road. The Garrison has will be at the centre of the Armed Forces preparation, ensuring the Coronation's delivery will be to the very highest standards.
Everyone in the area is requested to be security vigilant and to report anything suspicious, this includes unusual vehicle activity, unattended bags, persons in areas where they shouldn’t be. This can be reported to one, or all, of the following for action:

"Our service personnel across the Garrison are gearing up for the Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6th May.
"This will be one of the largest State Ceremonial events in living memory, attracting global attention, and Aldershot will be proudly housing the Guards Regiments as they finalise their drill practice for the Coronation Procession.
"Road closures will be in place for two-hour periods for four-hours a day, and residents are thanked for their understanding and patience in allowing our troops to polish-up their drill."
