Leo Docherty MP visited Alexander Dennis last week at their testing and development site here in Farnborough to see how the company is delivering the next generation of zero-emission buses.
Alexander Dennis, the largest bus and coach manufacturer in the UK, opened its facility in the constituency last year, as a state-of-the-art centre to drive forward the company's zero emission mobility ambitions and new product development.
The company manufactures zero-emission buses such as the Enviro400EV double-decker which is fully powered by electricity, and the Enviro400FCEV double-decker, which runs on hydrogen-fuel cells.
Commenting, Leo said:
"Last week I visited Alexander Dennis, the world's largest manufacturer of double deck buses, at their facility here in Farnborough.
"It was great to see the work they do as a hub of testing and development, working on next gen zero-emission hydrogen powered buses - and the next gen of engineers with the AD24 Training Academy."
