The UK is currently in the process of rolling out 5G technology across the country, with the Government aiming to have the majority of the nation able to have access to a 5G signal by 2027.
Businesses here in Farnborough are already pioneering the way in 5G, with Qualcomm, a world leader in 3G, 4G, and next-generation wireless technology innovations, developing a new era of intelligent products that will enable millions of devices to connect with one another like never before.
Leo Docherty MP visited Qualcomm in Farnborough to see how technology developed here is increasing connectivity and capacity which will enable new, innovative services for individuals and industry.

"If you have a modern smartphone, such as the iPhone 14 Series, chances are the phone’s modem is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G chip.
"They are working on the next generation of mobile technology, including 6G, improving coverage, boosting signal quality and providing faster download speeds."
