The Government this week announced further cross-departmental work to drive forward the 'Anti-Social Behaviour Action Plan', including increased hours of police patrols.
The Action Plan takes a zero-tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour, by employing 'hotspot' policing methods - currently being trialled in pilot areas across the country - to help stamp out this unacceptable behaviour which ruins communities.
Commenting, Leo said: "One of the emerging themes from my Law and Order Survey, which runs until next week, is constituents' concerns over anti-social behaviour and how increased police presence on our streets would help to deter it.
"The 'hotspot' method of policing seems to be bearing fruit and I look forward to the lessons learnt from these pilot areas being rolled out nationally.
"There is still time to share your views via my Law and Order Survey, which you can find on my website."
