As part of the Government's Anti-Social Behaviour Plan, £66m has been made available to all 43 forces to support up to 900,000 hours of hotspot patrols over the the next year.
Of the money made available, Hampshire Constabulary is set to receive over £1.4m to deploy 20,000 hours of uniformed 'hotspot patrols' to tackle the issue.

"Anti-social behaviour was one of the main concerns reflected in responses to my recent Law & Order Survey – it is really encouraging that the Home Office and our excellent Police and Crime Commissioner, Donna Jones, are taking a zero-tolerance approach to make our area safer."
