Leo Docherty MP has released his latest e-Bulletin, in which he rounds up a busy start to 2024.
Commenting, Leo said:
January has been another extremely busy month, both in the Aldershot constituency and in Parliament.
"This month has seen me campaigning against a plan to place hundreds of asylum seekers in Farnborough - the results of which are available in this month's edition.
"We have also received fantastic news for both our Armed Forces families and veterans this month, as the rollout of super-fast broadband on the Garrison speeds ahead, as well as the Veteran ID Card application system going live.
"Additionally, I was also humbled to be invited to become a Honorary Patron of the charity Community Matters Partnership, and welcome some local charity fundraisers to Parliament, so I could thank them personally for all the fantastic work they do."
