The Government has launched its consultation on proposed actions to tackle smoking and youth vaping
This consultation asks questions on proposed action to protect future generations from the harms of smoking, by creating the first smokefree generation. It also asks about proposals to crack down on youth vaping and ensure the law is enforced.
The consultation closes on 6 December, and Leo is encouraging everyone to make a submission, to ensure their voice is heard: https://tinyurl.com/SmokeFreeGen
Aldershot constituents can also share their thoughts via Leo's website, as he will be making a submission to the consultation in the coming weeks.
Commenting, Leo said: "This is an issue of particular concern to me, and I have previously written to Ministers at both the Department of Health and DEFRA, highlighting the risks to young people and the environment, and encouraging further action."
