Earlier this week, in his role as Minister for Europe, Leo Docherty MP visited Kazakhstan, a long-term friend and partner of the UK, and met with Deputy Foreign Minister Vassilenko to discuss the shared vision for a strategic UK-Kazakhstan partnership.
Commenting, Leo said:
I was pleased to invited to Kazakhstan by Deputy Foreign Minister Vassilenko to discuss a wide range of issues and shared objectives. These include strengthening education links, growing our economies, improving energy security and connectivity and tackling sanctions circumvention."
Leo also visited Albania, where he joined a meeting of Foreign Ministers to discuss a range of issues, including security and prosperity.
