Last week, Leo Docherty MP and Cllr. David Clifford, Leader of Rushmoor Borough Council, met with Parkside's Chairman, Chris Harris, to hear about their great work in the local community, their exciting plans and forthcoming refurbishment.
Parkside is a wonderful local charity based in Aldershot that provides support services for children and adults with learning disabilities living in Hampshire and Surrey and surrounding areas. Parkside’s aim as a charity is to give both children and adults the opportunity to develop their individual skills and take part in activities within the local community.
Commenting, Leo said:
"It was great to meet everyone at Parkside and meet with Chris to hear about all the plans he has in the works.
"I'm looking forward to coming back when refurbishments are complete, which will allow them to expand and deliver more support services."
