Leo Docherty MP appointed as Minister of State for Europe
As part of the Government's ministerial appointments, Leo has appointed to the role of Minister of State for Europe, within the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
The Government's new Cabinet represents the depth and breadth of the party, to get our economy growing and deliver for the British people.
The Minister’s responsibilities include:
- Europe (including Gibraltar)
- Eastern Europe and Central Asia
- UK-EU relationship under the Trade and Cooperation Agreement and Withdrawal Agreement (including the Northern Ireland Protocol)
- national security
- defence and international security
- conflict, stabilisation and mediation
