In May, we received fantastic news this month that Frimley Park Hospital's bid for funding to build a brand new state-of-the-art hospital was successful. This has been an issue I have campaigned on for some time. You can read more below.
This month was monumental with the historic Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. A national celebration and the largest state event in over 70 years. This success was in no small part thanks to the role our Armed Forces played in the Coronation Procession.
Our area has always held a deep and close connection with the Royal Family, having been established as the Home of the British Army in 1854 by Queen Victoria - with celebrations in a couple of weeks' time in Aldershot for Victoria Day on Saturday 10th June. Princes Hall has it's own Royal connection, and reached a milestone of it's own earlier this month.
Throughout May, I have been undertaking visits across the continent as the Minister for Europe, including Armenia, Cyprus, Italy, and even inaugurated the new British Embassy to the Holy See.
