
The Government has announced that the Prime Minister's pledge to halve inflation by the end of 2023 has now been achieved
Commenting, Leo said: "It is fantastic to see that the Prime Minister has hit his target for halving inflation before the end of the year.
"This is real progress which will help with the cost of living, and shows that the Government's plan for the economy is working."
In January this year, inflation was at 10.1% and has dropped to 4.6% in October - a fall of more than half. The Government and the Bank of England are working closely to reduce inflation further, to the Government's monetary target of 2%.
