Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust have planning consent granted for new hospital building
A new £47 million building at Frimley Park Hospital which will provide state-of-the-art diagnostics facilities and additional wards, has been granted planning consent, with the outline business case for the development being approved by NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care, both subject to conditions.
The building is scheduled to be ready for use by late summer 2024, and will create extra, much needed space that will help make access and delivery of services easier and more efficient in the treatment of patients.
Commenting, Leo said:
"Last month I visited Frimley Park Hospital where I met with Neil Dardis, Chief Executive, to discuss the pressing needs of the hospital and the plans to improve service delivery.
"This building represents an exciting first phase of the hospital's redevelopment."
