Frimley Health and Care are launching a pilot service ready for winter located on the ground floor of the Aldershot Centre for Health, to increase access to same-day urgent care for minor illness.
Commenting, Leo said: "It is fantastic to see there is a new Urgent Care Centre opening in Aldershot, offering a new service which will help residents across the constituency to access more primary care appointments this winter.
"I am fully behind this initiative and this is a great example of the brilliant work our fantastic NHS is doing to ramp up appointment availability to patients."
The service will be open Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 8pm. Walk-in appointments are also be available for under 12s between 2-6pm on the normal days of operation. Residents can be offered appointments by contacting the non-emergency line 111 or their local GP practices.
